You Are Planning This Right?
Thought for the Week - You Are Planning This Right?
I hope you are having a wonderful
holiday season so far! We just wrapped up
Thanksgiving dinner at our house, and one of the things
on the "I'm so thankful for..." list is you!
You are the best subscribers, and I
hope this year has been a wonderful year of writing for
you.
So what's up for next year?
Have you started planning for it yet?
I have an updated resource to
help you make your writing goals happen in 2008.
Enjoy and I hope you are "Ready to
Create in 2008!" with this new calendar.
One of the best success strategies
I've learned over the last couple years is how important
it is to have your plan ahead of your actions.... so
planning 2008 before January 1, planning
December before it gets here, and planning tomorrow at
the end of today.
So make
some quick plans for 2008.... it doesn't have to be
elaborate.... just some notes on your goals for the next
year. Get your brain whirling about the possibilities,
and you'll be amazed at what develops.
"I'm on day 5 of your book and already have done more writing and compiled more ideas in this short time as I usually do over several months." -- reader M. Howard
Angela Hoy of
WritersWeekly.com says "...the most organized writer I know is
Julie Hood...."
Another blogging finalist, Brian Clark from
Copyblogger, shared his thoughts on what writers can learn from
the writer's strike--and describes the best decision he ever made about writing
and why scriptwriting isn't as glamorous as it sounds.
The from-the-heart, here's what really worked for me (and what didn't!) posts
are some of my favorites.

Happy writing and organizing!

"Julie, I am sending a quick note to thank you for your well measured and extra-ordinary website. You have
a tremendous amount of information at a very reasonable cost. I subscribed to your free site and, for the
first time in forty years of writing, found a planner that works for me.
I felt so guilty for receiving so much information free from your
site that I have now ordered and downloaded the e book. I have found that you have struck a cord among so
many writers regarding procrastination and simple organization. Keep up the good work.
